Hi Angelene,
When you go through the menus "System" > "Defaults" then you'll find the
"Default Format" right above the "Security settings" heading. If you set
that to "PDF" the default format on the invoice will become PDF (instead of
the current default HTML).
Regards,
Erik.

Hi Team,
How I can solve this issue, I need to see the text on the other line but
this is not functioning the command will show at the end of the sentence.
Kindly see attachment for references to really understand the issues.
Thankyou.
Hi everybody,
It's been a long time since some of our translations have been updated. As
a result, the quality is slowly, but steadily declining.
Fortunately, we've seen recent activity for the Estonian translation, which
triggered me to contact the last-known translator for he Hungarian
translation asking for an update of that translation. He pledged updates.
I've contacted the last-known translator for the Malay translation, but
haven't had any feedback yet. Same for the Danish translation.
Lastly I found someone who can and wants to help out improve the German
translation.
Of all translations which have around 50% translation coverage, I'm now
looking for help with the Italian, Russian and Finnish translations.
The steps to get started are really easy:
1. Create a Transifex account at https://transifex.com and log in using
your GitHub, Facebook or Google account
2. Browse one of these links:
https://www.transifex.com/ledgersmb/ledgersmb/language/it/ (Italian)
https://www.transifex.com/ledgersmb/ledgersmb/language/ru/ (Russian)
https://www.transifex.com/ledgersmb/ledgersmb/language/fi/ (Finnish)
3. Click on the "LedgerSMB-15" resource
4. Click (in the popup) on "Translate"
5. Start translating
Note that it's not necessary to translate the resources "LedgerSMB-13" and
"LedgerSMB-14": the shared translated strings will automatically be copied
into those resourecs (overlap is >95%).
Anybody who would want to help, but not with one of the three languages
above, the full list of translations-already-started is at
https://www.transifex.com/ledgersmb/ledgersmb/languages/ and additional
languages can be added on request.
Thanks for anybody who's able to help or find someone else who is able to
help!

Bye,
Erik.

We have a book business where EVERY inventory item is unique (even two
copies of the exact same book would be different part numbers.) Back when
I was working with LedgerSMB 1.3 I wrote some scripts to update inventory
from the book description database. (They appear in chapter 20 of
LedgerSMB-manual.pdf :-)
Are these still usable in 1.5.x? Is there a better way to update inventory
in a batch or interface way than existed when those scripts were first
written?
Any help would be appreciated,
Louis
