Adding to OpenBSD. Is this a good time now?

A lot of Perl modules need to be imported into OpenBSD in order for it to be installable. I plan on asking for help to do this from OpenBSD users. It seems like LedgerSMB would now be a good import with all of the development of testing, etc. Are there any big changes on the immediate horizon for 1.5? I'm not running LedgerSMB because of the work that needs to be done first. As a side note, I am working on getting the forums back up, but $$ are a bit of a problem right now. Trying to find a baremetal server outside of the USA that I can afford hasn't been successful so far. I found one, but they charge $30 for remote access for 24 hours. I can't afford $90 a month, which is most of what I am finding. Thanks, Chris Bennett

Release of ledgersmb-1.5 v1.5.18-1

An initial version of the debian package of ledgersmb-1.5 for version 1.5.18-1 has been released and uploaded to our apt repository.[1]. It has also been uploaded to our PPA[2], for 'artful' (v17.10) as well as 'xenial (v16.04) and 'bionic (which will be v18.04). Book, Manual plus other documentation status

I would like to know the situation right now with all of that stuff. I may be able to import something into a part of the ports tree if the documentation is at a good state with the current version and if that's OK to do from both the "powers that be" with LedgerSMB and OpenBSD. OpenBSD does like to have a documentation port for many different programs, for example postgresql-docs and many others. LedgerSMB-docs would be acceptable if it matches up with the current state of things. Just a thought, Chris Bennett

Dojo first for OpenBSD support LSMB Any Dojo comments?

Right now I am recovering from the flu, so I'm still a little wiped out! I see that my first step ought to be Dojo. I've briefly glanced at the source. Anything I should be aware of for importing it? I was starting getting sick as I looked over everything real quickly and definitely with a lack of clarity from being sick. I'm going to look again in more depth at everything as best as I can. The dual licenses were certainly peculiar, but no problem since it was the BSD or the other one. I just thought I'd ask ahead of time if I would need any tips. I don't speak JavaScript, so couldn't hurt to ask. Plus, it's nice to let everyone know that I'm actually trying to get things going again with OpenBSD. Thanks, Chris Bennett

Context specific translations?

Hi, In our translation catelog, we have the word "To". There are multiple uses for this word, which is marked for translation for all uses. One use is the case of a date range ("From ... To ...."). Another use is the case of an address ("To: <address on the next line(s)>". When translating these to Dutch, these use cases have very different translations (Date range: "Tot"; address: "Aan"). It seems we need some context specific translations. However, our translation library (which isn't gettext), doesn't cater for them. Any ideas as to how to approach this problem?
